This is still a pathetic excuse for a rest stop. 1 hour parking limit and a row of nasty porta-potties. Sad. CDOT should be ashamed.

Sorriest Rest Stop I Have Ever Seen
Steep hills, potholes everywhere, Porta Potties for restrooms, signs prohibiting parking from 7:00pm through 6:00am, other signs prohibiting parking for more than 1 hour although truckers are ignoring them.

Behind
When you get off the exit there is a spot immediately next to the highway that is a large fresh paved spot that states overnight parking and snowmobiles. You can legally stay there. Also behind the rest stop/ straight through the intersection up the hill there is a forest road with pull offs. Both good for a night

Limited parking and very busy. No overnight parking, but we arrived shortly before midnight and the place was packed with overnight parkers. Beautiful scenery, but the facilities themselves seemed a little under managed- toilet paper all over the floors and clogging several toilets as well as just looking generally 'dingy.'
