Nice
Very friendly, helpful staff. Well maintained with level gravel spots. Great for an overnight stay. Backs up to the river and faces the mountain. I70 is the only issue. We had to close all windows at night due to highway traffic. We got the last spot, which happened to have a broken water spigot. Camp host allowed us to pull into another spot to fill up our tank before we pulled into our own.

Simple- Just What We Needed
Our first two nights out in our 43' RV pulling a 28' trailer and it went great! Easy pull trough access, power and water hookups, and even a small fenced in dog area our pups enjoyed. Overall it was quiet, not much traffic, easy freeway access and simple. We called and they gave us an open spot and told us to come down and pay in the morning. Easy enough. We'll go back. 30 minutes to Glenwood Springs and 30 minutes to Vail. Great spot! We even needed help getting a new mattress and Cody came along in his pick up and helped us out. Two thumbs up!

A little more room than a parking lot. Ok for overnight, bathrooms nice, and a Costco nearby

Overpriced
Site host said about 1/3 of the sites at this campground were shutdown by the county due to inadequate sewer and electric capacity. Lots of permanent residents. No sewer hookups. No cable. Just water and power. Intermittent wi-fi. Dog poop everywhere. Train noise. Highway noise. Showers had mold. Site host was pleasant but didn't provide a map or directions to features. He said closest food was 10 miles away. Not worth the price and won't be back.
