Moose!
Stayed here September 4-7 2020. $110/night. Closest RV park to western entrance of Rocky Mtn. National Park. Sites are close, however there is a lot of green between each site so it doesn’t feel crowded. We stayed in space 12 which seemed to be the favorite snack spot for a mama and baby Moose. Saw Deer and Moose everyday we were there. Went into Grand Lake - lots of shops and restaurants- we were there over Labor Day and there was a lot of live music too. We drove into the park and over trail ridge road to east side of park. We had fires and also snow- we left one day early to get to Estes park- had to drive south around the park as road thru close due to smoke and then snow.
Restrooms clean and owners very nice.
We would stay here again.

Location!
This was a nice park as a base for visiting RMNP. The location is right outside entrance to park. Staff were very nice. The only negative is our particular site was directly across from office, restrooms, laundry. I would opt for a different site further back into the campground next time. Those sites were much nicer. Would return!

We camped here with friends 2 weeks ago for 4 nights. Our site, #3, was easy to access and level with our 40’ RV. There are shrubs between sites so privacy isn’t a problem. With easy access to RMNP and Grand Lake there is plenty to do if you want to. We saw deer and Moose in the campground and had a cow moose behind our rig one morning. This is a well kept park and I highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area - just make reservations early as it fill up fast. We look forward to being back.

I would have to say this is the best park we’ve stay at on this trip!! Close to the Ricky mountain state park entrance !! The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rest rooms and showers were great!! The biggest thing was the visit of the bull moose that stay in the campground all night and was outside our camper eating !! We seat an watched him for awhile it was amazing!! He was amazing and the cow moose was at the play ground when we got back to our camper !! It was the best just for that reason!! We will stay there again!! I will add a few pictures so you can see!! Love love !!

Great Spot
We camped here for 2 nights in a 17 ft hi LO with water and electric. It is located really close to entrance to Rocky Mtn Park. Hosts were very personable and friendly. Bathrooms were wonderful. They were the best we have seen thus far, clean and spacious. Sites have trees and bushes in between each other and feel more private. This campground has nice laundry facilities and even a TV room set up much like a living room in your home. Moose sometimes come right into the campground so you might be able to capture some great photos. We would stay here again.
