Great Stay Even In January
We were passing through in late January and this was a great place to stop. Very clean/nice bathrooms and warm bathrooms/water/sewer/electric/filled our propane tanks while there. Definitely plan to come back when it’s warmer and check out the creek and caboose cafe!

Dust Bin
This is an average park at best. The good: This is a very clean park and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bad: Very noisy being right next to the only major hwy in Durango. It is very dusty since they put down road base, with the rock dust included, versus gravel. They do water the roads occasionally, but the water has no dust additive, so it makes a mess that evaporates instantly in the dry air of Durango. The lots are narrow with huge boulders surrounding them, creating a collision hazard especially at night. The dump sites are too high to allow proper drainage, except for a tall trailer. There is almost no shade. And the worst part is the price, $59.90 after a 15% veteran discount, $69.00/ night normally. That is very expensive IMO.

Oasis RV Park is a reinvented version of a former KOA campground that was poorly located next to a major freeway. It has been upgraded with a number of theme park features that lack any substance -- only for show. It is kept immaculately clean in order to create the illusion that you are in a first class park -- so that they charge first class fees. They must haul potable water to the park. They have a ditch through the middle of the park that is supposed to resemble a mountain stream -- I guess. We listened to freeway traffic all night and survived a park water system failure that left us without water in the late afternoon. $72.50 per night???? Give me a break!

Great Winter Spot
Beautiful campground. Costs just a bit more than average. We stay over Christmas and got a south side pull through spot to catch the morning sun. When I couldn’t get uphill on the ice they just switched me to a different spot not problem.

Nice Place
Very clean and well kept. Lots of options for tents, cabins and RVs. Rigs are nicely spaced and not on top of each other. Clean laundry facility. Helpful staff.

Great place to stay. Looks like these guys bought out a KOA. You can tell that the new owners have been putting alot of hard work into there park and it shows! The site we were in is a fairly level gravel pad with a picnic table. A little more than average space between you and your neighbors. Water pressure was 70lbs pre regulator. Very dog friendly park, and the staff was top notch. I would have given 5 stars, but the price seems a little high. We are full time, and this is how every park should be run. We will stay again!
Reply from owner/manager: Thanks SO much Picket Fence Protest! Yes our park is under new ownership and is now our Oasis.....Same staff and friendly service our new owner wants to make sure of that. Our prices reflect our upkeep but we hope affordable to all. We are grateful for your review and please stop in next time you are in our neck of the woods....Safe and happy travels....

Nice Spot To Camp
Nice park, friendly staff and close to downtown Durango. We stayed in premium pull thru with patio n furniture. You will hear traffic noise, but rustic camp (saw deer while walking dog) and close to town make this a nice spot. Negatives are low water pressure and the usual camp wi-fi (pony express wi-fi)

Love this KOA. Tent camped on July 5. Helpful and accommodating staff. Did not have advance reservations but the great staff gave us the last tent site. Site was small (usually given to motorcycle travelers) with gravel parking and wood chip tent pad close to the showers and bathrooms. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Enjoyed my stay at this park

Great Place!
So far, KOAs have not disappointed us and this was no exception. Nice little place. A bit expensive but that's what we've encountered in Colorado.

We Didn't Care For It
Not what you picture Durango to look like. Just small scrubby trees. All dirt. Our spot was very uneven. Office staff was not all that friendly.

Great Place To Stay
Everyone was friendly. It was nice and clean with semi private sites, lots of activities for young children, and a great dog park for our dogs to run off some energy. We would definitely stay here again.
