Worst Management Ever
The park changed hands this year 2022. I was an employee there for a short time. Lisa the manager is a wicked nasty individual. Her husband Dan is fulltime her son Anthony is fulltime and both get on the golf cart in the morning and hide in the garage unless called to take care of something. The cleaning team is a joke. The bathroom showers were disgusting till I scrubbed them but she wasn’t happy with my performance. I guess she wants people that won’t make her look bad. They don’t care about this park botched everyday about the people and what she has to deal with. Hello this is a hospitality business. No people No job. She was happy when we didn’t have a lot of guest. She was happy when it rained because the people stay in the campers. They locked the Rex hall because things got broken. So the advertise a Rex hall but you cant use it unless you rent it for the day for $250. Unfortunately I am running out of space so I can’t get it all out to you. Just avoid RJourney Parks

A DEFINITE MUST STAY
We have Rv’d since 2018 and this is the cleanest and best managed campground we have ever stayed. Sites were immaculate. Very friendly and helpful staff. The park is just beautiful a destination in itself. Close to major tourist attraction. Walmart is only 10 miles away. 5 STARS+

Excellent Place To Stay!!!
Spent a week at this campground in early June and found it to be amazing! The family who owns it is incredibly nice, the campground is immaculate and well kept, the gift shop /camp store is beautiful with great gifts and there are always activities planned for the guests. Food trucks, cookouts & ice cream socials. The bathhouses have granite countertops! The river is beautiful. We decided to stay there so we could explore telluride, Durango and Mesa Verde. We will definitely be back. I love this campground!

Great spot. Stayed 2 nights on our way back from the Grand Canyon and wished we could have stayed longer. Great sites with lots of trees. River right next to park with fishing holes. Hosts go all out to make sure guests enjoy their stay. Dolores is a fun little town as well. We will be back.

You Can Tell Owners Love Their Place
Lovingly cared for, there does not appear to be a “bad spot” at this campground. We actually preferred not to stay by the river (bugs-flys actually)..we had a spot up away from the river, next to a Totem pole! Loved it! We were going to just stay one night then added another..when we learned we could not stay one more night in our spot, my husband was bummed out! We will definitely return. Our site (#27 I believe) had grass as well as a nice concrete slab that the picnic table was set on (gravel was our base) site was level, store was charming, everything was clean and lovingly maintained.

DITTO what all the reviews say. If you have a good plan, book in advance and get a river side location. The river was divine. We drove to Mcphee reservoir and rented a pontoon boat... that is a beautiful place as well. The town of Dolores is within a bike ride and had a several cute shops. The pizza food truck was a treat as well.

19’ Airstream
You won’t find a better total experience than this gem on the gorgeous Dolores River. The owners, Billy and Lainey, overlook no detail. Spotlessly clean. Most welcoming common areas. The main bath house? You’ll wish you had such woodwork in your own home. This campground is the true definition of pride in ownership. Try to be there when they bring in food trucks, serving up delicious local delicacies. Of course, we won’t ever stay there again. Our experience at this park was instrumental in us falling in love with the area. We bought a house close by, and these guys had a lot to do with that decision. We do make a point of returning regularly to the park to sample the fare at the food truck and enjoy a cold beverage along the river, and to visit with really good people in a breathtaking place.

Good Clean Park
Spent several nights. $41 per. It was clean, nice folks. Great location. Quiet, good parking place. WiFi sucked but I didn’t go to be connected. TV cable was nice. Still rate it a 5+. Try it. You’ll like it!

So Pretty!
The park is really pretty. The sites are close but tree lined and shady. Love the pond and river views. The Wi-Fi is spotty snd the cable is not great, but if you dont care to much you'll love it here. This is our 2nd time, I'm sure we will be back again.

2nd Visit In 3 Years From Georgia
This park has continued to grow and improved. We gave it 5 stars for it's appeal and the location. With the upgrades to the facilities and grounds it is now even better. Lots a spacious sites, we had a concrete pad on one of the many river/pond sites. The play ground and ponds were outstanding. Would we stay here again? We did and we will.

Great park, great, location. Close to most everything, well at least two hours close. Will stay again next time in area. Park has everything old retired person like me needs. Park staff clean up as soon as a camper leaves making everything ready for the next camper. Outstanding clean baths and showers. Quiet and easy to get around in.

Five Stars
I've only been writing reviews for a few months but this is my first five star Campground review. Greatpeople nice Campground a little more spacious than some, the sites are spread out over many acres. Most sites have big shade trees and there's a great dog walking path through the woods which if you cut through between some cabins you end up by the Dolores river which is totally gorgeous! I'd say the only downside is there are some ponds scattered throughout the campground which during dry season does attract some mosquitoes! I'm in a pickup truck / camper in a back in space, but some of the sites are huge if you have an extravagant RV. PS:The nicest most beautiful cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in any Campground.

I Came Back Again!
Can’t say enough about how nice this place is. I was here 2 yrs ago & actually like it better now. This place should be an example of how to run a campground properly. Baths / showers super clean, laundromat 8 washers, 8 dryers. Cement pads by the camper door with table in almost new condition. WiFi/ cable excellent. Campstore/gift shop , weekend events such as brick oven pizza, live 4 piece band, charity events, children’s area, fishing. I didn’t even mention the area itself. It’s a perfect base camp to the 4 corners historic sites. Dolores, as small as it is, has restaurants, grocery, motels about 3 miles down the road. Saw deer in campsite upon arrival. 7,000 ft elevation gives you some fresh air & cool nights.

Lovely Place!
Enjoyed our stay here! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice large sites with concrete patio and grass and trees in between. Very clean! Checked out other parks in the area and this one is the best!

Special Spot
Very helpful and friendly staff. The spaces have a lot of shade, as well as a nice maintained gravel drive. Grass is found throughout the park. The park is a combination of RV spaces and a few cabins. Within 100 yards of the Delores River. The common area is nicely maintained. The bathroom/showers are newly remodeled, and really clean. The best I've seen in my limited experience. Tiled "wood" flooring, lots of varnished wood, granite countertops. The day we arrived a local traveling wood burning pizza maker was there. Looked like a local food vendor came in several days a week. Saw a horse shoe pit and hula hoops as well as swings for the kids.

Wifi A+++++++++++ :-)
DW and I stumbled across this peach of a campsite and we are extremely happy that we did. We visited in mid Oct, and as we were told, we missed peak fall color displays. I couldn't believe we missed the peak! The colors were still stunning. We reserved a site on the parks stock pond and couldn't have been happier. No matter which site one chooses, you are but steps from the river and amenities the park has to offer. We have stayed at many, many parks, and this one was one of the best. Full hookups and.everything worked. The spaces were very clean, spacious and manicured. We we surprised to find an rv park in this area that actually has grass. The owner operators are always out and about tending to the property. I could ramble on and on about how our experience here but I won't; pack your rv and come.check.The place out for yourself. You won't be disappointed...
