Place to Boondock Plus a Waterfall

Nice national forest campground. Nothing fancy but does the job and just off hwy. All sites were fairly level with 4 spots tucked beneath or shaded by trees. All other spots are in open areas. Water spigot in middle of camp, garbage bins and vault toilets. Water fall is a short hike from back of campground. Bears frequent area as bear activity was all around trees near camp but we did not see one. Probably the best day of our trip was here as it was relaxing and quite. We were by ourselves until the later afternoon when a small motor home and PUP arrived. Rating is based on comparison to other national forest campsites that are not ran by concessionaire.
