It is not a KOA anymore. Called Cortez RJourney. Stayed here overnight. Place was pretty open and we were able to pick our spot. We had nobody next to us. Gravel and level spot for us. Nice views where we camped. Never used washroom or laundry but it was a nice clean campground. We would recommend.

Outstanding
This park is new ownership “Rjourney”. No longer a KOA. We are in a 44’ 5th wheel and the sites are very accommodating. Beautiful views and a like new clean laundry. We were broke down with a slide that would not retract. Owner gave us a free extra night to make repairs. Very accommodating.

Stay Away - big rig Unfriendly
Do not tell the office tharpt the rig next to you is leaking propane. Do not tell them that they continue to park other campers in such a way that they block you in.
The response you will receive is a shake if the head - and then they will drive away. That propane smell - that could blow you skyhigh? Why, that’s ‘new tires’ per staff member Barney (or Barry?).
And the ‘Jack and Jill’ set up - campers open up to each other creates a cluster......and sharing the water feed with your other neighbor.....? Better hope you are not using water at the same time.
Cannot get out of your campsite - because of how WE parked your neighbor? Too bad. When you complain to the office - they tell you you are acting like a five year old and get back to your campsite. Stay at another campground. This one sucks.

Great Owners
This is a great KOA. I would encourage everyone to stay and this beautiful park.. The owners are very helpful and take great pride in ownership. Well done.

The BEST
One of the nicest KOAs we've stayed in! Pads are gravel. Ours needed a little more than usual to get level. Good areas for pets. Very nice & clean Restrooms & laundry.
Close to town & Mesa Verde. But very quiet.
And a bonus - they kept the dust down. It was very dry.
Overall, we will stay there again if we are in the area.

Tent camped in this amazing KOA on June 30. Tent sites are spacious gravel with pea gravel tent pads. Staff was friendly and helpful. The dog park adjacent to the campground is amazing. Our dogs loves it. A bit more expensive than other KOA's but defiantly worth it

Kind of a dumpy pool. Friendly staff. Clean sites, but on the narrow side. Nice playground and super close to the entrance of Mesa Verde
