Stayed one night mid October 2023. Stayed here to be close to the gorge bridge. Would not return.

Stayed one night in late March. Nice small campground. Lots to do in the area. Theresa (hostess) was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

”Location” is the point w/this Park
Location is great. My husband booked this site as a surprise for me as he read they had ”mini golf”...that may have been true 10+ years ago...run down. Spaces very tight. No grass..but assume one travels to this part of the country to enjoy rafting, hiking, cycling...not hanging out at the park site which one would not be inclined to do here...not a warm fuzzy...just a means to an end. Was ok but would look to try someplace else if I came here in the future.

Perfect Location
Located just up the road from Royal Gorge, quiet, AND amazing CO mountain views. No grass..level gravel sites with rock terraces; water tasted great; no tv; no wifi; big pool; nice playground; nice campfire areas; pricey but great location. Camp hosts are so cool they walked the campground handing out donuts on National Donuts Day Friday! Loved our stay here.

Good location for gorge, rafting and wolf center. Clean bathrooms and pool. Relatively quiet. Pull through was more than long enough for rv and toad. Amusements did not add much to stay, but my 2 boys thought they were decent.

New Ownership
Came during the off-season. Wonderful new owners who I have a young family been doing a lot of work on the grounds to make them Nicer. This campground has a lot of amenities although as mentioned before a few of them come additional costs such as a large slide and go cart area. They have miniature golf and a small playground no extra charge at the moment girls were in slight states of disrepair but I have a feeling that the new ownership will address that. Being the off-season and new owners the store itself was not stocked very well. However the daughters of the new owners were very entrepreneurial and I had pizza for us to order with campsite delivery. They also have some very new good-looking cabins on site. During the off-season the price is a bit high for full hook up. And as mentioned for the spaces are not as large as one might fine. I think that the family new management and the work that we see being done should improve the park's performance.

Sites are wickedly small especially in full hookup area. Far too expensive for the quality of the park and it's facilities. There is a large slide and go-cart track in the property but these come at additional cost.
