Pretty, but...

Beautiful little park. Good-sized pond with coots, ducks, and a great blue heron. Lots of folks fishing. Had a level site. Easy in and out. Unfortunately, it is right next to two extremely busy railroad tracks. Our rig was no more than a hundred yards from them, and the trains were frequent and amazingly loud.

Dirty And Loud

The trains are loud at night. The park is dirty and falling apart since they cut down staff. The livestock have been moved out and the area is now turning into a tumbleweed farm. The rubber place surface at the playground is a disaster. Watch out for skunks.

The place is nice except the loud trains running less than 10 yards from the rv sites. They run all night. And then when we got here they changed the restock day to friday and we couldn't fish o. Sat due to a derby. So we went on thursday and couldnt fish Fri or Sat and we were leaving sun. We wont ever go back. The trains and weird fishing rules were more than enough to ruin a supposed peaceful fun vacation
