Do NOT come here with an RV! Road is steep, narrow, winding and very rough. Single lane shared with oncoming traffic and few turnouts. There seemed to be an irrational amount of insects, bathrooms were disgusting and there was trash everywhere. Water was shut off. We left immediately despite having prepaid for a spot.

Great Campground

This campground is quiet and empty in winter with beautiful surrounds. I saw in other reviews reports of bears. There was a large amount of trash in one camp site with attractive food items which we threw away which had been torn up by animals. The ranger drove by to check cars but didn't do a clean. Still would definitely stay again, price was around 22$ and there were guest camping slips to pay with cash or cheque in an onsite pay box. There were ample bear lockers for use and firewood, firepits, non potable water? And toilets and bins. Right by a lovely river. There was a sign saying road closed but the gate was open. The site also has cabins and a bridge to more camp sites. Was warm all night in January.
