Great Horse & Lake Vacation

Pricy compared to most other Equestrian Camps but you are also getting boating, swimming and fishing all in one. Corrals at each site and several water spigots throughout the camp. Sites are shady, large and mostly level. Vault toilets are well maintained and the camp is well patroled. Group BBQ area with lots of picnic tables and a huge grill. Lake is a short walk down the hill and the trails are wonderful. The 2021 fire destroyed most of the Fleming Meadow National Forest trails nearby but the Sly Park trails survived. Website on Recreation.gov is set up nicely but if you want the senior discount, you have to phone it in during non-busy times.
