Yes, it is a member’s only park(CRA CtoC affiliate). We stayed here Memorial Day week 2023 and really enjoyed it. It is not the fanciest resort we’ve ever been to but it is by far not the worst either. We didn’t have any issues with the electric service so maybe they fixed it. No sewer, but the honey wagon comes by 3 times a week and takes care of the mess for you(no big deal to us). The staff was nice and the family enjoyed the pool. Good food at the snack shack and the grill over at the “Ghost Town”. Beautiful area to boot. Our only complaint was that there is only one laundry room at the bottom of the hill which can be daunting for someone with disabilities or maybe elderly. We would return.

The info on this site claim to be a back drop for the filming of the Virginian. No at all. It is a dust bowl. They have a water wagon to keep the dust down !! We were there 2 weeks never used it. There is no sewer. So therefore you have to call the honey wagon. My biggest complain is the voltage. It does not run 120 volts instead it was running 103 volts on a 30 amp. Constantly loosing power. Wiring is not up to date. Fortunately we had a surge protector on our plug to protect our rig.

Clarification needed

You would think when you call these people that they would notify you that it is a private campground instead of wasting 2 1/2 hours to get here just to be turned away at the gate their website does suck ( Private Membership required)

Love this place only 126 miles from our home in Modesto. Staff very friendly. No dump station at each site; but Monday Wednesday and Friday they have a honeybucket dump truck that will come by your camp and dump your gray and black water for free! There is a dump station on your way out. The only sort of bad thing is no lake to play in on site. Bit there is a very nice swimming pool area with big grassy lawn.

Staff very friendly and helpful only issues were park was extremely dusty and 30 amp service would drop down to 106 volts which is the cutout on my rig for electrical. Had to run generator to have AC in the afternoon.

Only some idiot who works for some sleasey law office would waste valuable space for a comment like the one previously.
