This place is immediately adjacent to Highway 395 so there’s plenty of highway noise. The Google map directions are incorrect. The park is about half a mile south of where Google maps locates it. I’m glad this place is here since there is a film festival in Lone Pine which is making accommodations pretty scarce right now. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The park is pretty primitive. It seems apparent that they haven’t hosted this many RVs in a very long time since there are weeds growing where they shouldn’t be and a lot of things don’t work. I would avoid this place if I had another choice nearby.

Not much on out this way. It was really great that there was a resturant on site. The site was fine and everything worked well. It is quite a drive to Death Valley. It might be better to stay on the Nevada side I'd that is your destination.
