Peculiar (poor) Park Design
Stopped here for an overnight on our way home. Front half of the park is spacious with wide driving lanes and somewhat short drive-through spaces. The rear part of the park is clearly for long-term campers and is not nearly as navigable - so be sure to request a front space if you are planning to arrive after sunset. Spaces are wide, packed dirt/gravel and are relatively flat; however, the park is situated on a slight slope and the hookups are on the uphill side. This is acceptable for electric and water connections, but unacceptable for the sewer connection which is effectively non-functional. Fortunately, there is a dump station located on the way out, which is why we rated three-stars rather than just two-stars. We will likely only consider returning here in the future if we do not need to use the sewer hookup (I.e.- one day outbound from our homebase), otherwise we will be looking at other parks in the area.

Wonderful KOA
The person at the front desk was very friendly and efficient. Our site was wide and level. The bathrooms are older but clean. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water with a changing are. The pool was clean. There is also a well stocked store. Lots of flowering bushes. We would definitely stay here again!

Rv'er
I will never stay at this run down excuse of a RV park. Koa clearly doesn't not review their franchises. Sewer dump is uphill from RV. Lots are not level and rough gravel.koa has computers but the users can not operate them.
This place is sad

Okay, but nothing to write home about. Very basic for a KOA.

Be sure to call for directions if you are westbound on 40, the GPS had us lost in the middle of nowhere. Don't use the navigation button on this page. The campground is not on Evans Lane!!! Just arrived and the campgrounds seem very nice.

We stayed here overnight in late August. It was hot but the pool was awesome! Very beautiful KOA with picturesque mountain landscape and lots of palm trees on site. Definitely used the A/C all night! Convenient hook-ups and dump sites - friendly staff too. Would definitely stay here again since it was cost friendly at $33.
