Great Place To Get Away From It All

No cell limited internet. Nice get away. Everyone is very friendly and nice hookups (30 & 50) around a small lake or in the woods.

Nice Park

Clean spaces on a small private pond. Restaurant has very good homestyle food. We have stayed here a few times when Redding gets over 110 degrees just to cool off. Just an hour's drive but usually 30 degrees cooler.

Beautiful Area

You are surrounded by nature here. sites were level with FHU & plenty of room with a small lake backed up to the camper, table , fire ring, camp store, friendly, laundromat, visit Lassen Volcanic NP, well worth it but I had limited access due to snowplows were still clearing roads in May, cool nights & days that time of year. Also some spectacular views of snow covered Mt Shasta from down the road a bit. Not too far from town but still need a car to get there.(15 miles or so).

Perfect For Stopping Through.

Very clean and friendly staff. They have a catch and release pond but dont allow rafts or swimming in the pond. We took our 3 kids and felt like it was more of a place for older folks. They offered Full hookups and we were able to dump easily at our site before we left. It was quiet and we were able to stop by the volcanic lava caves on our way home. I would of given it 5 stars if I felt it was more kid friendly and if the spaces weren't so close together.

Clean, well run campground with full hook-ups. Everything about the campground is excellent, except for it proximity to the road which ruins the back-to-nature feel I like.
