Great place to take your family to camp. Campsites are big and spacious. Area is quiet and the lake is beautiful.

Reservation Only?

This is a very pretty campground with nicely laid out sites, asphalt roads and level pads, flush toilets, nice tables and fire rings. The problem is, the sign at the entrance, says it is by reservation only, with a number to call, and the sites aren't marked to tell you which ones are already reserved. We arrived right at 6:00 PM, and no one was answering the phone. Luckily, the campground was empty, and the host allowed us to spend the night with our promise to pay in the morning and with the knowledge that we would have to move if someone came in who had reserved the site we chose. Also, even though a forest service campground, the national golden age discount card is not accepted here.
