Excellent Stay

Just finished a quick 2 day trip with my daughter. Really enjoyed our stay. Super clean park right on a beautiful part of the delta. Wifi was pretty bad, though that's common at most parks. Wouldn't hesitate coming back.

Sugar Barge

This is a beautiful park near the water with a private fishing dock. The management was friendly and very helpful. We had a reservation for spot 5 but they moved us to another location because 5 was muddy. The park has a lot of long term residents but they were all friendly and their campers and lots were well maintained. I also noticed that all dogs were on leashes. The bathroom that we used was very clean and up to date style wise.

Great location

So the park is okay, not amazing nor horrible. It is mostly well maintained though the muddy sites are a major issue. The maintenance staff is outstanding but management...oh boy. Thebmanager's wife is rude, condescending and not at all a nice person. Also, the rules of the park are only good if you are not friends of management. For example, dogs on leash was screamed at us by the wife yet their friend'a dogs were allowed to play free of leashes. Also, the one car rule at the sites did not count for their friends. Then the permanent type stuff on sites..., just poorly managed park overall. I recommend this place if you don't care about mud in your trailer and you are okay with selective rule enforcement.

Bethel Island Is A Dump

Muddy, potholed site. Trees way too low. Bathrooms are very dirty. Marina closed even though weather is perfect. Zero walking trails, most roads dead end so biking isn't much fun. If you don't have a boat, this place is useless.
