Small, Quiet, But Lots Of Ticks

My family thought this was a perfect spot for a weekend of camping until the second day when we pulled over 30 ticks off of us. My boys were so scared they wouldn’t even come out of the RV so we cut our trip two days short. If the ticks weren’t so bad, we would go back.

Beautiful Small State Park

This Arkansas State Park only has 18 RV sites and 9 tent sites. There are no attractions nearby and only one restaurant 3 miles away, and it only serves breakfast and lunch. But if you like peace and quite in a remote forested area, this is the place to be. Plus there are several great walking trails with foot bridges.
