The Steps Is The Best!!

We have been to the BLM several times over the years and someone told us about The Steps! We had a view of Lake Havasu and this section was much cleaner than the first area as you head out of Lake Havasu City. The 1st area has burnt campers and we saw people adding their trash to the pill of burnt camper. Lots of long timers there even though it states 14 days. Thanks to the guy who recommended The Steps!

Blm Area

Tryed this spot definitely packed. Had no cell signal going up the hill to this location.

Good Internet & Tv

Verizon 4LTE and AT&T 3 LTE. Also plenty of over the air channels. Nice views. Dust and noise during day from ATVs but quiet by nightfall and almost no highway noise. Some people don’t leash pets for some reason so watch out for dog shit.

Lot of nice spot, nice view, free

The floor is hard and flat. Easy to drive. It works to spend the night in a RV.

Easy Access For Dispersed Camping

This area is easy to access from highway, with a fair number of spots which are flat or gradually sloping. Nice views for sunset and rock formations. Usual 14 day stay limit; site host may issue permit on entry.
