Best Campground On The Spit

Great location at the end of the Spit!! There are sites to accommodate all types of campers. If you find yourself in a dry camping spot, don’t fret as you can fill your fresh tank on site and dump your tanks on the way out. Easy walking or biking to all the shops. We have stayed here multiple times already and will continue when we make are way back.

Great View

We just arrived. No booking. Got site 88. Close to memorial and bottle shop. It does fill up so get there early.

Usually Full

We got here Thursday morning in July and only had about 5 sites to choose from out of over 100. We called several times the day before and no answer. Friends had similar experience. But it’s right on the Spit. Beach access. Clean showers for $1. 4 bathroom stalls each. Free camper dump if you stay there. Pretty busy at check out time though. Easy walk and bike ride to ocean front businesses. Camping very close to neighbors. 5 miles from downtown.

Not Answering Their Phone.

Three days of no answering their phone, goes into answer machine. How can we get info. If they don't return phone calls????

Best RV Location in Homer!

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 5 years and it is our favorite RV spot on the Kenai Peninsula. Tenters are closest to the beach but there are both dry & full hookup sites with the same beach/ocean view (overflow sites don’t have the view so reserve early). No pavement in the park at all, this is the Homer Spit in its full glory. :) All the shops/restaurants on the Spit are in walking distance from this location. The laundry/bathroom/shower/gift shop facilities are very clean, and the staff are genuinely friendly.

Great View

We got a site on the first row by the water. It is dry camping, but the view is great. They have nice showers for just $1.
