After stopping at Bessemer and Trussville Walmarts that did not feel safe for family overnight (10 pm car alarms, loud music, etc.), we made it here. Like the other reviews, there were half a dozen trucks or so that ran engines overnight but not an issue. Felt safe for family overnighting.

Safe But Alot Of Trucks.
It was easy to get into. It was a fairly small Walmart but by the morning the whole bottom half of the parking lot was full of trucks. It felt safe. No traffic noise, just the truck engine noise. Overall, it was good. I can't believe for such a small Walmart they let that many trucks stay overnight. The Walmart was nice inside.

Parked here in January 2019 after reading reviews. There were no signs about overnight parking, except many no semi parking signs. Nevertheless, there were about 1/2 dozen semis when we got there. When I took my dog out about 10pm we were surrounded by a dozen semis. No other RVs. In morning still a dozen trucks and no other RVs, though some trucks were different than night before. It was pretty warm out so the trucks didn't run their engines all night. Felt safe. Would stay again, but it looked so much like a truck stop in the morning I wouldn't be surprised if we all lose the privilege. When over half the lot is filled with overnighters the manager has to be thinking about cracking down.

Quiet Peaceful Uneventful
This was our first overnight with our new travel trailer. Once we were parked and semi-level we had our choice of several fast food establishments within walking distance. Our night was quiet, peaceful, and uneventful. We felt very safe and comfortable staying at this Wal-Mart.
