The Best Boondocking Place

We stayed at this BPS location for a second time in two years. Last time we had issues with street racers, and this year after pulling into the top tier, we walked to the store customer service to let them know we were using their parking lot, and inquire about the racers. The lady there was very welcoming and assured me they had taken care of the racers issue by calling the Police on them a few times. Since then it’s been heavenly quiet. We had the best boondocking experience in a long time. THANK YOU BASS PRO SHOP in Leeds AL, love you.

Bass Pro

We called management and they were very polite and said we could stay up on the second level. We too had some hot rodders, but they left out quickly. Hit up the Buc-cees across the road before we pulled in for the night...it was a great place to boondock.

Nice Place

The parking lot for this Bass Proshop looks like a campground! It’s divided into tiers that are arranged into different levels. There was one or two other boondockers around. It was perfectly quiet until about 10:30 PM when a bunch of kids turned out in the lower tier with their street racing cars. We watched them from afar as they paraded in their muscle cars before leaving the premises at high speed, screeching tires and revving their engines. They left in two waves and we heard them racing towards the city. Luckily they never returned. The next morning I called the store manager to inform him of the event. He said it had started recently and that he had asked the headoffice for additional security. I still recommend this spot. Management asks that we use the top tier.

We called and asked if we could overnight in there lot and said yes up on top of hill overlook place quiet easy to get into easy into and out to interstate I-20 thanks Bass pro store

Excellent Spot

Stayed here last night and had the upper tier to my self. Super quiet and relaxing. Will stay here again next time.

We stayed there December 29. Called first and they said go to the 3rd tier. They have a main parking area then 3 levels on the hillside facing the front of the store. No one was there so we were able to park on the top and be level. It was super quiet and very nice. Have to go in the first entrance as the second has a 8’ limit. Also did some shopping and had a sandwich at Bucks which was very good. All paved.

Nice Bass Pro

We stopped 11-16 the RV parking was full of marching band for Santa’s arrival. Asked an employee and was directed to the back lots up on the hill. Great place was quiet and peaceful after the store closed. The store and employees were the nicest Bass Pro I’ve been in so far. 5+ stars
