I'd Pass It By
Old, poorly maintained, narrow roads, short narrow sites and potholes that could swallow a compact car. 30 amp, FHU. Power boxes look really OLD. Close to the space center which we passed on because their prices are a bit excessive and no senior discounts.

Most reviews [indicating average] are spot on; they are full hookup 30amp sites. Can't comment on staff as we never interacted with them. Good cell service (for streaming) and OTA TV reception. Our site wasn't level, and from the leveling blocks people were using it appeared most pads weren't. Laundry only open during office hours. Plenty of squirrels and birds to keep you company. Take a walk through the woods and try to find the Space Shuttle nose section nestled among the trees.
The biggest CON would have to be the campground road. So many potholes you cant miss them, and even at 5 mph they beat you to death and rearranged your entire camper/RV contents.
We were visiting the Space and Rocket Center (which is awesome) so it served its purpose of being close and saving us $700+ on a hotel room.

Patch Of Grass Off The Freeway
This RV park is close to the Space and Rocket musuem, and a short drive to Huntsville. Beyond that, I honestly couldn't think of much to recommend about it. There is a constant drone of freeway noise, trash littered throughout the park, and the sites, while moderately sized, offer zero privacy. The site I got was also not level. It's worth noting that the price has gone up since many of the below reviews--$25/night. There's no wifi, but is a full cell signal.

Nice Small Park
Park is easily accessible from 565. Most sites are paved and level. A couple need some work they slope at side angles and hard to level your rig. All sites are 20/30 amp. The showers were clean and warm. It was cold the week we were there. Slow to get work performed. Sewer connection was not usable at first site. Was able to change sites but not repaired while I was there.
There is some hwy noise at night but dies away later in the night. Close to most everything in Huntsville.

Great Little Gem
Stayed here 3 nights at $18 a night what's not to like... well, most sites are not level and the laundry room is only open when the office is open and they were closed on Sunday and they only have 30 amp... no wifi or cable.... those were the only negatives... we got plenty of tv channels with our antenna... we came for the Space Center which was terrific and a 10 min walk from the park... the bathrooms were well kept tho dated... would absolutely stay again... did I mention it was $18 a night?

Nice park, big sites, no WiFi, air TV, close to somethings. Walmart down the road on left, go straight and you have pizza, Chinese food, subway, would use again. Friendly and helpful staff, well maintained.

No Frills But Wonderful Campground
If you are going to the US space and rocket center this is the place to stay. You can walk to the entrance only 1/2 mile away.
The sites and shaded and paved. Spacious. Price is great.

Best Price And So Beautiful!
This is the best campground we’ve stayed in our entire trip! The price and surroundings were awesome! The owners let us pay over the phone so we could arrive late.

This campground is organized, well run, has huge trees and a nature trail. Groups of schoolkids routinely set rockets into the skies at a learning field nearby. Sites need work to level, but it's well worth it. Wonderful place for the price! Be sure to have reservations.

The Space & Rocket Museum is so much more than just a museum. $18 for the RV spot was great! I will be back with the grandkids for the Space Camp! Fun!

Clean, Close and Cozy
This was a very nice campsite. Everything is first come first serve, but it was very accomodating. The staff was friendly and helpful also. The site only had 30 amp hookups, but between the local RV Seller (Bankston's - also good people) and Wal-Mart, you can get an adaptor to make the connections. Our RV has a 50 amp connection. It was great. Free wifi, clean and secluded. We'll visit again when we go visit our son who's in school there.

You Cannot Beat The Price!
Hilly and many uneven sites BUT very cool how close you are to the space center! Quiet - nice nature surrounding the campground. Management very helpful. Bathrooms clean and warm with 2 shower stalls (women's). Internet worked great all the time!
Staying again next week :)
