Very Nice Park
New name is Lake Jackson RV Campground. The park has full hookup + cable. It is a small park located on Lake Jackson. Great if you have a boat too. Very nice and fellow campers friendly. Only issue to be mindful of is that although you can telephone to make a reservation, the sites are actually on a first come basis. Camp office closed Thur, Sat & Sunday so you do self check in. So although we would love to return, I doubt we will due so because of the unpredictability of getting a site. We lucked out and got the last lake lot when we arrived.

Don't Believe It
This is now county park. Drove a long way in Class A, called x3. Arrived 3:30pm on a Thursday. Nobody there, nobody answered phone. Full of silent staring locals. No camphosts. Had to leave.
Don't believe these reviews. Lies
We are full timers, experienced camphosts and have no reason to invent this review. You are warned.

My wife and I stayed at this campground in Nov 2020. The park is small and has a nice feel, good lake for fishing, nice shower/laundry house, good wifi, and a really great bike/walking path. The park hosts were pleasant to deal with and made you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this rv park. We will camp here many more times in the future.

Great Little CG
No longer a state park; now run by the city of Florala, calling it Lake Jackson RV Park. Awesome staff and camp host. Full hookups. Level, gravel spots. Plenty of space between sites. Free firewood, laundry: wash $1.50, dry $1.00, free hot showers, clubhouse that can be reserved free, if you're staying here, for birthday parties, etc. Lots of water activities available. Highly recommended.

What an awesome campground. Front office and camp host were perfect. Sites are well maintained and the grandchildren had plenty to do. We will be back.

Nice Quiet Place To Relax With Gran Kids
We had a very nice campsite. The staff was very helpful. The grandkids, Connie and I enjoyed the ability to ride our bikes along the bike path. The grandkids enjoyed swimming in the lake and playing on the different play grounds along the path. And would recommend this park to anyone that’s look for a place to relax for a long weekend. Campsite and camp grounds are very well maintained. Very nice bike/walking path.
