Too Many Politics

2Campground is owned and operated by the city of Decatur as is the water park, golf course, etc. Past managers have tried to limit RV parking of locals to a reasonable length of time but too many of them donate to the local city politicians so any reform gets shot down. The long timers here are not living in their RVs full time, they are simply parking the RV full time. On holidays such as the 4th of July they will show up to be seen. On holidays the place fills to overflowing with locals who have made reservations a year in advance and have their favorite spot staked out.

Like an rv park. Floods when it rains. Mosquito's are bad.

More like a mobile home park than campground. Overcrowded with full timers. Staff was unprofessional. The only pull through slots were not level. Not able to dump uphill. Great location for biking, kayaking, golfing and water park.

Crowded

A lot of people look like they have lived here a long time. Great location next to the water park and golf course. Lots of trees. Too many people for my tastes, others may vary. Daily rate is $22 I believe
