Great Spot!
This was our 2nd visit in 2 months.
The staff is fantastic.
The first time there was a black powder shoot happening but after a while we just became use to it.
2nd visit a lot of families there enjoying the Thanksgiving week.
We will definitely return.
It does seem that some maintenance repairs need to start happening soon before it’s too late to control, Tables, fire rings, railroad ties need to replaced.
There were no paper towels in the small shower house the whole week we were there. There is a stall door in the ladies large bath house that would not lock when we were there a month ago and still is not locking.
Would be nice to have dry area to place thing in the shower at the large bath house.
These are observations not complaint’s.
We truly love the this place. It would perfect if there was a fishing hole :)

Great Little Campground
Rich in history. Everything was great besides the WiFi. Really nice staff.

Quiet Peaceful Rural Park
Choose a site in the middle campground. Best ones back up to the creek. Upper campground sites are close. Lower campground sites are small, not level, and poorly arranged. The website does NOT tell you that no tent is allowed to be on the site with your RV. So you cannot let the kids have the tenting experience. Bath house is rustic but adequate. The pool is currently closed. Ice is available but bring your supplies. Water pressure in the shower is almost painful, so use a regulator on your rig.

Ask Before You Come
The only reason why I didn't give a rating of 5 is because I have a pet and he was terrified because they had a shooting (muzzle loader) competition going on during our stay. So ask what's on their calendar before staying on a weekend. Other than that, beautiful lots, spacious, great price and good people. Will definitely stay again!

RV Camper
It’s an okay place, quiet and pretty. Unfortunately under funded by the state so not managed like it should be.
Sites are laid out nice but restrooms/ showers are a hike and there are no cooking type grills st sites.
They do have laundry. I’d stay again if I the area.

Poorly managed
Paid for water and electric and got a mess with random electric and water spread out with no level sites. No good park map. Had to pay extra for a small site but at least was level. No toilets or showers near camping area.
