Stayed one night only. We stayed in an easy-back in site with a view of the river. We opted not to venture down to the river but there are paths to do so. Ground was a bit soft at our site, so keep that in mind when setting up your jacks. There are walking paths, canoe/ kayak launch, and fishing. Even though it is just off highway, it was very quiet through the night.
Not sure when the campground was re-opened but they appear to be working hard to make improvements. Trees are being planted throughout the park and new shower on site. Nice fire pits (current fire ban I the province). This is a great place for anyone who wants to get away from the city for a couple of nights. You will need to bring entertainment for children…there’s no playground or swimming.
