False Impression!!

Not what was advertised. The showers are a disappointment and are coin operated! The sites are grass and they are not mowed!!! The pool was black and the pool terrace was full of weeds!! Will not come again!!

Pleasant Surprise

Spent 5 nights here while attending an event in Ottawa. The park has tent sites with water and power, 30 amp sites with water, power and sewer, and 50 amp pull through and back in sites. While we were there the 30 amp sites were closed for grounds maintenance so we were camped between two seasonal sites despite the fact that 80% of the park was empty. However, the site was fair sized, level, with a gravel parking pad and a concrete fire ring. The park is fairly small without a dog walking area. However it is definitely big rig friendly with large pull through sites as well as fair sized back in sites. The park is about 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa so if you're looking for a good base of operations to visit Ottawa or attend an area event, Camp Hither Hills is great. The owners are friendly and very helpful, the washrooms and laundry were clean. A great place to stay and relax.

Big Dump Fee

Stopped in just to empty waste tanks 28.50$. Seems excessive when provincial parks 14.50. BC parks 5$.
