We chose this campground based on the Good Sammy ratings. 9:10:10. 10 is for appeal. Perhaps we value different things but this is not a fair rating. The sites are cramped - even the ones under the trees where we were. The noise is constant from the train line, traffic on the road and kids screaming. The campground is not bad - but the ratings are horribly wrong.

Tented at site t13 for $31.00, decent and shaded. Clean showers and friendly staff. Looks like many rv's are permanent fixtures.

We frequent this campground quite often. Great campground and very clean. Nice pool. While the pull throughs in the trees are nice so are the outer field sites as well.

Very nice campground particularly in the pull through sites in the trees. Other sites are just in a field. Wifi is hit and miss depending on usage levels from other campers. Pool is nice but not heated. Bathrooms are okay but could use an update. Showers are .25 cents for 3 minutes. Great stop for visiting Halifax area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Campground is well maintained.
