Nice Campground

We are checked in for 3 night. Sites are spacious, level and nestled in trees providing excellent shade. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Staff are very kind and and helpful. The only downside campers should be aware of, are the hours. Check in is 2pm vs the usual 12. The gate is closed from 10pm to 7am. I need to catch a 8:45 ferry out of Nanaimo, therefore I must be on the road before 5:30 am. The attendant says I can stay overnite outside the gate along the highway. Live and learn! Unlevel, no hookups, along a noisy highway, all for 60 bucks! Haha!
