TRAINS
I can’t believe no one else mentioned the trains. They’re a few hundred meters from the main camp ground and they run hourly every night. They’re loud enough that it drowns out normal conversation. I couldn’t sleep through them either so I was woken up every hour or more often sometimes. But the campsite itself seems nice.

Stopped in to spend a night passing thru with my trike and popup camper , in July 2019 the lady at registration was rude and would not let me have a campsite with electric hook up she said I did not need electric I felt I was singled out because I was on a trike motorcycle

Nice campsite and well located. Bit expensive for the hot springs and a central Sami dump which was a bit of a pain. Nice otherwise and kids had a great time. Large field for ball sports which was great. Would definitely return.

Nice Spot - Little Smokey
Place had everything you could ask for except a beach, the river was raging when we were here. Wifi signal isn’t good throughout the park

We stopped for one night. It’s a beautiful treed campground with full amenities. Extra for hot springs, showers, laundry, etc. Food in store was overpriced but we didn’t buy anything there anyhow. Laundry services only up at office and it’s a big campground, so it’s quite the walk uphill for washing and drying.

Drop-ins
We tried to get a reservation the day before but the website service indicated it was a two day process to get a response and no one would answer the phone. We decided to stop in and had no problem getting a spot although it pretty much filled up in the late afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice park.

Pricey But Nice
If you have a family and also want a swim then be prepared to pay $100. Otherwise it is a nicely maintained park.

We stayed there as a stop over from Calgary to Salmon Arm. Nice, clean campground but a bit overpriced in my opinion. $45 per night then $3 more per child. $11 per person to use the pool.
