Depends On Campsite
We lucked out with the best spot, and it really made a difference. H14 is a full hookup spot at the top of the hill with a huge private area (except for the trail). Many of the other loops are very crammed and tight with little privacy. Being far above the highway it's quiet and peaceful, and the major trails are nearby, including a short hike to the hot springs. The campground has water, dump stations, and firewood. 2 bars of decent cell service from H loop and great service near town. I enjoyed the area as it is much less crowded than many of the other parks.

Rough And Needs Work
Roads inside the campground are rough and many of the sites are unlevel. Sites are close together. The shower house near us was in terrible condition and needs to be totally redone. Overpriced for what you get for unserviced.

Nice Location
Campground is nice, plenty of trees and space. Some very large potholes.

Stayed one night a quick access to trails around the canyon. Site was with power for a Class B RV, lots of room, gravelled and relatively level. Quiet neighbours.

Nice Campground
Camped here many times throughout the years. National Park campground, so you must have park pass. Some sites are small, but the hookup area will take the larger units. We had no problem with our 20' unit in the non-hook up area. Hot pool is about 5 km away by road or 2.5 km by walking trail. Washrooms were all very clean & well kept with free showers. Usually you'll find sheep wandering around & thru your campsites. Only 2 km from the town of Radium, which has most services you'll need.
