Secluded Sanctuary

10km south of Cranbrook, turn right on Lumberton road follow for 3.7 km until you get to a rock quarry, turn right and go through the quarry, follow road for 2km, keeping straight at forks. The road is very rocky but doable for 4x4 vehicle. Stone built fire pits and picnic table. View of the lake filled with beavers and eagles. Lake isn't ideal for swimming. Sadly no frogs could be heard at night, lots of fish. Beautiful creek to cool off in nearby. Lots of litter and broken glass, so clean up after yourselves!!
