I stayed here for a night at the end of July with my rooftop tent. Lots of sites available, some well treed, others facing the lake. It was very quiet, lots of gophers, pelicans and other birds, berries and mushroom varieties.
The only downside was the price and the stinky lake. It smelled terrible and I got the sense I shouldn't be swimming in it, though I didn't get the itch or anything. The water was quite shallow for a long distance out. Firewood is available at an additional cost and the campground host, who is friendly, does his rounds often enough if you need more.
Toilets are pit style, there are no showers or potable water.
For the lack of amenities and for the price, I think this campground is not worth it.

Nice campground, clean and well kept. Great beach area. No showers or electric sites. Most sites are well treed. Others out in the open backing onto the lake. Friendly staff.
