Camper Extraordinaire

Just off the hwy not far from David Thompson Resort. Camping is free but take out your garbage and keep the area pristine. No toilets or fire pits so be sure to respect “our backyard” in the West Country.

Sunset And Constellations

A beautiful spot with in ground rock fire pits. We came in mid August, it was a very calm, clear evening. Camped on a hill next to the lake. The sunset reflecting on the water was magnificent. So many stars at night. Very, very cold overnight so dress warm! Not very well sheltered so if it's windy I would not recommend this spot if tenting. Bring your own firewood and no bathrooms!
