Great Stay

The area next to the Campground is undergoing some major construction so there was a bit of dust during the day. The Campground supports a large number of transients en route to Alaska and other parts of Canada. It is quiet and fairly well kept. The backside of the area is permanent trailer park but there are no problems. Sites have plenty of space between and they have both 30 and 50 amp sites. The 50 go first. You can walk to town and transportation. Price is not bad when compared to other campgrounds and great access compared to the many campgrounds in Banff.

Just Don't Do It!

Very rundown. Maintenance as well as general cleanliness is very lacking. Just 3 showers for a very large park. Showers and washrooms were moldy and dirty. This is a mobile home/RV park with many permanent residents. Originally it looks like the RV spaces were large enough for a rig and a car; however it appears that they cut the spaces in half; therefore, cars were parked in the road and wherever they could fit. It's a beautiful view of the mountains but not with it!!!

Don’t Stay Here !

No wifi , $1 to take a shower , paid $65 to stay . Run down mobile homes and they don’t like the rv folks . Can’t get out of here fast enough

I think we would look for another park. We were right beside a very run down mobile park. And the sites were very close. We did laundry out of desperation in not so clean conditions. Disappointing in such an ideal setting.

Banff Base Camp

Easy access and good location for our weekend. Close to town for evening entertainment. Check in and site staff very welcoming and helpful. Will return.

Beautiful views and easy access to trail into downtown Canmore. Showers are pay but were clean.

Very nice staff. Incorporated with a very unkempt permanent trailer park. Camp sites very close in proximity. Bathrooms ok, for showers you need to pay and not worth it, they are extremely dirty and nearly unusable. Beautiful views all around with very nice trails "everywhere" to bike/walk around town.
